It doesn't take much to make me happy, or so I thought. I always wanted a rope swing to end all rope swings. Seemed like a fairly tame wish. Well, in the end it took a village to complete this magnificent rope swing and mostly due to the efforts of Frank and Steve--two neighbors of mine. It was quite a feat as you will see from the photos. Yes, it is the best rope swing on the river. And yes Virginia, this old lady has swung on it many times.
