Winter Wonderland

MLS/MRIS #WR8337053

It is beautiful here during and after the January 2014 snow. Here are some gorgeous shots around the house. The previous blog entries present the interior shots taken of the house. Please look at all the entries to get the complete awesomeness (I use that word as it was meant to be used) of Sycamore Shore. BTW, there are a total of 13 entries, so make sure you see all 12 of the previous blog entries.

HOME SWEET HOME: MAIN FLOOR

MLS/MRIS #WR8213530

Navigation: This is my very first blog, so the architecture is not optimum. The interior photos are at the top of the entry list and the exterior photos can be found 3rd from the bottom of the entry list and fun stuff found in the middle. I hope you take the time to hit each of the blog entries found in the list at the bottom of this page...

This house is being sold furnished and all that you see in the photos for the main floor convey with the exception of some of the framed prints. Items will be marked when you visit so that you will know exactly what conveys and what does not. Move in will be turn-key right down to the electric can opener and several TVs and stereo.

You will adore eating and lounging in the great room surrounded by picture windows toward the river and the granite edifice out the side windows. This property is famous among many of the locals in the area as being the most beautiful. All furnishings on this floor convey as well as a completely stocked kitchen...right down to the pots and pans hanging on the rack. Even the wrought iron table set on the main deck with umbrella conveys. Towels and sheets convey as well. Vacuums and other appliances galore. There are 12 yard chairs and gas grill. What a way to end the day with a BBQ dinner on the deck...which, by the way, goes all the way up the mountainette.

For your information, much work has been done to this house during my ownership to get it up-to-speed. It is in move-in condition.

HOME SWEET HOME: MASTER BEDROOM SUITE

The huge furnished master suite has a double vanity, hot tub and shower. There is a huge walk-in closet and smaller closet. The master bedroom has a fireplace and sliding glass doors that access decks on either side. Drink your morning java on the balcony, heat it up in the micro-wave oven found in the walk-in closet for ease-of-access. Everything conveys on this floor except my personal items found in the walk-in closet.

HOME SWEET HOME: FIRST FLOOR

The first floor furnishings do not convey with the house. I'm sorry it is so crowded at this time, but my studio and business is housed on the first floor.

I have left a good double-bed air mattress and pump for use on this floor to hold you until you decide to furnish the downstairs. The first floor is very spacious and includes 2 large rooms one of which has a great fireplace and walk-out to river and yard, laundry closet, furnace room, an ante-room (with party refrigerator), full bath and water closet.

FLORA NOW FAUNA. MORE POST CARDS FROM THE RIVER

One thing I never leave home without anymore is my camera, and quite often I travel around the house with it. Here are a few of my buddies down here on the shore. I have enjoyed: Mr. Whistle Pig who watched me as I washed dishes at the kitchen window; 6 a.m. viewing of fawns on the front lawn and hill; catching the to-die-for perfect photos of the Great Blue Heron--something that eluded me for eight years in Florida; and the occasional creature I've never heard of like the hummingbird hawk moth. All the following photos were taken on the property.
